Bu talimatlar Arch Linux mariadb kurulumu taze benim için çalıştı:

systemctl stop mariadb 
rm -R /var/lib/mysql/* 
mysql_install_db --user=mysql --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql 
systemctl start mariadb
